A tiny star charm dangles from a large brass hoop in these gold and silver statement earrings. I have hand hammered the brass hoop on both sides giving the metal an organic feel. Then I meticulously soldered 7 silver beads at the bottom of the hoop. A single soldered bead accents the brass star charm. I've hand aged the soldered beading using an oxidation process then hand polished each bead to create a beautiful contrast of gold and dark silver. I then seal the finish to preserve the patina. The star charm is then attached to brass rolo chain which dangles inside the hoop ring. Round brass leverback earrings are attached to the top.
